Plus Titles 4-6
The Fenzi TEAM program was designed to provide goals for handlers to achieve excellence in training. We believe that once skills have been developed (original levels) that it is important to generalize those skills by training in other locations (plus levels) as well as work towards reducing reinforcement (honors levels).
The Plus title series requires the original levels skills to be completed in a novel location not used in a prior passing video submission and must be different for each of the Plus levels. Details for Levels 1-6 are located on the individual level pages.
Teams may complete each Plus level in conjunction with the original level or may choose to complete them after successfully finishing all of the original TEAM Levels. For example, a team might choose to do TEAM1, 2 and 3 followed by TEAM1+, 2+, 3+ OR the team might do TEAM1 and then TEAM1+, TEAM2 and then 2+, etc. Once completed, the “TEAM+” title may be added after your dog’s name at the appropriate level. Our general recommendation is to work through the plus and honors levels as you complete the original levels as that is when those skill levels as well as the handler’s knowledge of the rules will be at the strongest.
Location planning is important for the Plus levels, as the location may not have been used in any prior passing video submissions. We suggest thinking about space requirements and considering how planning may assist you. The original levels can be completed in any familiar location, including previously used locations — so if you think that location might be useful for a plus level then make sure to submit the plus before using up that location in an original level. For example you may use a location for either TEAM1+ or 2+ and then use it for TEAM3 only IF you submit the 1+ or 2+ video prior to the TEAM3 video.
Video Special Rules: Handlers may opt to film Level 1 & 2 and/or Level 1+ & 2+ as two parts.
- The video must split the exercises as 1-5 and 6-10.
- Both videos must be taken within 7 days of each other.
- Location must be the same for both sets of exercises
- Video must be edited together as one complete video for submission purposes.
- Does not apply for level 3+ or higher.
